Some of the best cooking in Jamaica happens within smelling distance of salt water, and SeaGarden’s Beach Bar & Grill honours the tradition. From eleven in the morning until five in the afternoon, the grill works through jerk chicken and pork, burgers, and toasted sandwiches, with fries on the side. You eat under a thatched pavilion, plate in one hand and the sea a few steps away.
The bar keeps pace with rum punch, cold Red Stripe, and fruit blended to order, and because the whole beach club is reserved for in-house guests, the only queue is the tide. Lifeguards are on duty every day, and the setting is family friendly from the first plate to the last.
11 AM to 5 PM daily at the private beach club.
Swimwear is welcome straight from the water.
